What are the advantages of being friends on Zanby

There are at least 3 ways you can make friends on Zanby

1. You can search Zanby and send friend requests to interesting people.

2. You can find friends from your web email address book or a contacts file who are already using Zanby

3. You can invite your contacts who aren’t using Zanby to create an account and become your friend.

1. Click “Profile” tab in the top menu on any page. On Profile page click “My friends” link from the left menu. Then click “Find friends” link



2. Enter your email and password. We won't store your login or password or email anyone without your permission.

3. Warning! Not all web mails are supported. If your web mail is not supported you will get a message on the page. In this case you can try to add contacts from your email client address book.

4. In the list of your contacts who are using Zanby, select who you want to be friends with.



5. Click “Add friends”. A friend invitation will be sent to the selected users.

6. On the next screen you will see the list of people from your address book that are not using Zanby. If you want to invite them to create an account and connect as Zanby friends, click “Add to address book” button.

To export a CSV or tab-delimited text file from Outlook

1. Open Outlook

2. Select “Import and Export” from the File menu

3. When the wizard opens, select “Export to a file” and click “Next”

4. Select “Comma separated values (Windows)” and click “Next”

5. Select the Contacts folder you would like to export and click “Next”

6. Choose a filename and a place to save the file (for instance, “Contacts.csv” on the Desktop), then click “Next”

7. Confirm what you are exporting: make sure the checkbox next to “Export…” is checked and click “Finish”

To export a CSV or tab-delimited text file from Outlook Express

1. Open Outlook Express.

2. From the top menu select “File” – then “Export” – then “Address book”

3. In the export dialog window select “Text file” and click “Export”

4. Select a folder to save the file in, then type file name (for instance, “Contacts.csv” on the Desktop), then click “Next”

5. Make sure the checkbox for email is checked and click “Finish”.

6. On Zanby go to My Friends – Find Friends page.

7. Under “Import your contacts from your email client“ select the file type “Outlook Express (csv)”

8. Next to “Contact file” click “Browse” and select the file you have just exported from Outlook Express.

9. Click “Find Friends”.

1. You will receive an email when somebody invites you to be friends on Zanby.

2. Click the link in this message to view the invitation

3. Click “Decline” button (with red cross) to decline an invitation or “Accept” button (with green check).

1. Click “Profile” in the top menu.

2. Click “My Friends” in the left menu.

3. Click “Friend Requests” link.

4. Click “Sent” link.

5. If the person has accepted your invitation to be friends you will see him/her on “My Friends” page.

1. You can share content with your friends.

2. Your friends are automatically added to your address book on Zanby.

3. Shortcuts to your friends on your “My friends” page.
