Why are there so many places to upload photos and videos, create lists and events?

This provides flexible visibility options for your content. You can have your own stuff (photos, videos, events, documents and lists), available from your Profile page. Other Zanby members can search the site and find your stuff if it is not private (you can also make you stuff private or show it to limited number of members).

If you create a group and then upload your stuff on your Group’s pages, all the members of your group will easily see the updates on the Group’s page. They won’t need to search the site for this, and they will also get e-mail notifications that some new stuff has been added to the Group’s page. This is an easy way to make your group members informed that you’ve uploaded something new.

For example if you create an event on your Group’s page other members of the group will see it on the Group calendar.

You can also create a group family to combine several groups. In this case if you upload a photo to the Group family page, all the members of the groups within your group family will see it.
